Amie Gimon, APRN
After graduating from the University of Miami in 1995 with a dual degree in Marine Affairs and Biology, Amie spent a decade working in the environmental field. During this time, she focused on conducting environmental surveys and developing plans for environmental conservation. However, her career path took a new direction when she decided to pursue a nursing degree at Miami-Dade College in 2007.
Following the completion of her nursing program, Amie gained experience working in a medical/surgical Neurosurgical unit. In 2009, she relocated to Orlando, Florida, where she continued to work in the Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit for over 8 years. During this time, she decided to further her education and obtained a master's degree/APRN in nursing from the University of South Florida.
Since completing her APRN, Amie has worked in a variety of healthcare settings including Urgent Care and Neurology. Since joining Neurology Associates, Amie has been a sub-investigator in multiple clinical trials.
When she's not working, she enjoys spending time fishing, gardening, and scuba diving.
