Kelly hails from Wilmington, Delaware and earned her bachelor's degree in Life Sciences from Lynchburg College in Lynchburg, Virginia. During her time in college, she developed a passion for neurology, with her senior project focusing on utilizing stem cells in patients with Parkinson's Disease.
With a strong desire to assist and impact people's lives, Kelly believes she has found her calling in clinical research. She has been a certified clinical research coordinator since 2005.
After joining Neurology Associates in 1996, she and Dr. Honeycutt began their first study. Over the years, the research department has expanded into a well-staffed team that has been involved in over 200 industry trials. They have had the chance to partake in multiple pivotal trials that have introduced new drug treatments to the market, providing our patients with more therapeutic choices.
