Dr. Honeycutt was raised in Huntsville, AL and attended Birmingham Southern College where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biology and graduated with Honors. He attended medical school and completed his neurology residency at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He joined Neurology Associates in 1991, where he has had the opportunity to serve patients in Central Florida for over 30 years.
During his tenure at Neurology Associates, he established the Clinical Research Department known as NAPA Research. Under Dr. Honeycutt's leadership, the department has expanded from one employee to a complete clinical research team. NAPA research has participated in over 200 industry trials for which Dr. Honeycutt has served as the Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator.
